Which players were selected for the expert's English top-flight top performers lineup?

Every set of top-flight games this season, expert commentator Troy Deeney shares his lineup and coach of the Week.

Here are the most recent picks. What's your opinion? Share your thoughts with the feedback section at the bottom.

Keeper

Alphonse Areola (West Ham): The Hammers might have been six behind at Bournemouth if it wasn't for him. Massive moment, stepped up and displayed top ability. Superb shot-stopping to earn them a 2-2 draw. A loss would have damaged their whole season.

Defensive unit

Daniel Munoz (Crystal Palace): He's up there for top performer. Many discuss about Arsenal players. He is the top performer by far.

Murillo (Nottingham Forest): It would take a mad supporter to say 'Murillo nets and we'll beat Liverpool 3-0 at Anfield'. You'd have got huge prices on that. He shone. He's becoming a powerhouse. He can really be a challenge. Delighted to watch him perform like last season.

Malick Thiaw (Newcastle): I watched him several occasions earlier in Italy for AC Milan and he struggled from his faults. However with the Magpies he's impressed greatly. He displays great strength and forceful and appears graceful. It seems he has secured a spiritual home.

Ferdi Kadioglu (Brighton): Not typically a left-back, leaning towards a contemporary style in attack. He has proven to be a great purchase for Brighton. Few are astonished at them finding another gem out of nowhere? I thought when they got rid of Pervis Estupinan it raised eyebrows but the club is aware more than us.

Midfielders

Sander Berge (Fulham) and Elliot Anderson (Nottingham Forest): Similar players and they're in for the identical cause. Their clubs triumphed, many mention the scorers, but without these two the sides struggle. They perform brilliantly. They halt attacks, they attack together.

Eberechi Eze (Arsenal): The man of the moment. Many Arsenal fans, like my child, expressed skepticism if he could be the man to lead them to success. Three goals in the key match and currently fans desire to erect a monument of him. Finishing, poise, he dominated. The standout individual on the pitch.

Morgan Rogers (Aston Villa): Maybe this is thing that I agree with Thomas Tuchel on - he is at a point now where it's going to be very difficult to drop Morgan Rogers. I didn't think he had a great start to the season, In my opinion he was a little bit entitled and believed he could secure a transfer to Chelsea, and likely desired it, but he seems to have adapted well. A brilliant brace in the Leeds match helped his club when trailing. He made the impact.

Attackers

Callum Wilson (West Ham): I mentioned he seemed lacking his normal self. He looked like he was slower. Yet amazing. Words fail me. He was excellent. Phenomenal in his approach and with his two finishes.

Harvey Barnes (Newcastle): A very notable player. He performs strongly, typically sharper when introduced, but due to Gordon's absence so he is required to feature. He squandered a huge chance against Manchester City at 0-0 with his easiest shot. Yet possessing the mental fortitude to place himself into tough scenarios and score twice was remarkable.

Boss

Sean Dyche (Nottingham Forest): He steps in and beats Arne Slot. A wonderful gameplan. It might have been several more for Forest and all would agree.
